ECRIN
The European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN) is a pan-European organisation working for the harmonisation of clinical research within Europe through collaboration between national clinical research centra and clinical trial units.

ECRIN is funded by the EU’s FP7. The organisation’s work in providing support for all types of clinical research – irrespective of the area of medicine – also makes possible multinational studies within the EU.

KTA coordinates Sweden’s participation in ECRIN through a national network for clinical research in Sweden: SWECRIN. Swedish experts represent Sweden in ECRIN in different fields of clinical research.
